Initially we sold the only block salt softener on the market, which utilised a Kinetico valve imported from America.This was good, but not perfect, as the machines did not travel well between houses with different plumbing systems, and low household flow rates meant that hard water would break through from time to time.

Before we started selling the TwinTec Block Salt Water Softener, all softeners sold in the UK were imported from either the United States or Europe. This meant that they had not been designed specifically for our water supply in mind, and some even required modifications to work properly.

Now, the TwinTec S2 water softener is a very different machine indeed. The TwinTec S2 water softener is designed exclusively for the UK and the strict water regulations that apply here. The TwinTec S2 water softener also works with all plumbing installations found around the country. Its advanced metering can cope with everything from a dripping tap right up to Megaflow.
