How is it installed

Quick, easy, effective. Why choose anything less?

under-sink

Where it's installed

The TwinTec softener has been designed to fit into a place that's right for you.

It's most often installed under the kitchen sink, however, it can be installed wherever best suits you and your home. Our expert installers will help you choose the best location.

Ideally the water softener needs to be plumbed into your water system at a point where it can access your home's water supply soon after it enters your property. The water will then flow through the softener and your entire home will feel the benefits of softened water.

Hard water options

Millions of people drink softened water; the decision to do so is normally down to taste. Softened water does comply with Drinking Water Regulations if it doesn’t exceed 200 mg/l, which can only happen in regions of exceptional hardness (hardness levels above 400 parts per million), which do not occur in the Thames Valley.

If the taste isn’t for you and you want to keep a hard source we can advise on the installation of a hard water tap for drinking purposes, often at your kitchen sink depending on your existing plumbing. Alternatively we can often keep the cold water in your existing mixer tap hard if you would prefer. We can even advise on the fitting of a three-way tap.
